Brilliant strip! “Unsurance,” indeed; whenever you need it, you’re unsure what you’ll get. Been there…

Insurance is a product that does much more for you BEFORE you buy it then AFTER!

I remember one time my husband’s “unsurance” gave him a rental car. It was a Ford Fiesta, and it was a hunk of junk that couldn’t even get out of its own way. It was in worse shape than my husband’s disabled vehicle!

Insurance, the only thing you pay for praying that you never need it, but at the end of your life you have nothing to show for it.

If you don’t like insurance. Buy lottery tickets. See which way works bets.

I thought snow plow drivers were specially trained to bury cars, not to damage them.

File a claim on that insurance policy, that you’ve paid on for years, and see how quickly they either raise your rates, or cancel your policy !

Lynn’s Notes:I had so much fun with the English language. These strips won’t translate, so my work was generally only in English language papers. The good thing is that folks are using comic strips like mine to teach ESL. Seems the puns and wordplay are a great way to get right into a language, and what better way to learn than through funny words and pictures.

I read somewhere that when you take a mortgage on a house, you are required by the lender to insure the property, but during the term you are several times more likely to die than have a fire! But they don’t require life insurance?

One of the bits of culture shock while in Canada was the insurance companies claiming to be life assurance. I wouldn’t have been surprised if Mike were correct in his wording.
