There was a news story about this recently. Two moose with their antlers locked died and froze in the ice of a stream. Someone I know lived close enough that she was able to go see the actual corpses.

We’re almost into rutting season here. A few more inches of snow on our unplowed street and there will be ruts from one curb to the next.
