I had a cousin kind of like that. He wasn’t greedy, but he was a jerk. He was “popular”. I wasn’t. When we got into high school (we attended different elementary & jr. high schools) he told me that I wasn’t to say “Hi” to him if he was with his friends. We had different last names and virtually no physical resemblances so no one knew we were related…and he wanted to keep it that way.
