To be honest, I will always find a reason to go to the pub, come rain or shine. The most recent one was when my wife asked if I was ānot going out tonightā, I said, āok then, I willā¦ā
At the grocery checkout, the cashier asked, āDo you want paper or plastic?ā I pointed to my mother-in-law standing next to me and said, āNever mind. I have my bag here.ā
She laughed so hard we almost needed to pick her off the floor. She is a wonderful woman.
Iād rather have it be rainy than windy. Rain I can stand. Wind just creeps me out. Of course this is just in the Fall and Winter. I have no problem with wind in the Spring and Summer. I love rain all year round though.

My 96 year old mother in law is a treat. She watches baseball in the summer, hockey in the winter, and welcomes a game of cribbage any time.
