My 96 year old mother in law is a treat. She watches baseball in the summer, hockey in the winter, and welcomes a game of cribbage any time.

At the grocery checkout, the cashier asked, “Do you want paper or plastic?” I pointed to my mother-in-law standing next to me and said, “Never mind. I have my bag here.”

She laughed so hard we almost needed to pick her off the floor. She is a wonderful woman.

I’d rather have it be rainy than windy. Rain I can stand. Wind just creeps me out. Of course this is just in the Fall and Winter. I have no problem with wind in the Spring and Summer. I love rain all year round though.
