You can’t stay awake that long, Oliver. Go to bed and don’t worry about the others oversleeping. Spring is a long way off.

Personally, spring cannot come soon enough for me. We had rain yesterday which has now turned into ice and slippery roads. Spring – TAKE ME AWAY!

Cats don’t hibernate! If they did they would be very active spring and summer. but they still sleep all day, just searching for those sunny spots in the house.

I notice that instead of my screen name, DennisinSeattle, I now have my real name posted. How did that happen?

Dang! I was looking back at older Ten Cats from the good old days when we could post pictures. The comments are there, but the pictures are gone – just as I was afraid they would be. But I lost something else as a result. I think it was Dennis who posted a link to watch old Mickey Mouse shorts. I was using the library computer at the time since I did not yet have internet at home ( I love having it at home now so I’m no longer a slave to library hours). And I never wrote down that link and I never finished watching those Mickey Mouse cartoons. I meant to do it right away after getting internet at home, but then I had computer trouble and after that, I simply forgot about it until just last night. Whoever it was who posted that link, what is it? i want to go back and watch those cartoons! Or could I find it if I googled it?

The last several days here the daytime high was around 0 F. (-18 C). Wake me up in the spring.

I’ve noticed that the ‘Comment Count’ doesn’t include replies to a Comment. Bit of a bugger as it means you have to look down the comments to see if there are any replies, under the old (better) format it was easy to see if there are any new comments added.

Geez, this format is terrible. How do we go back to see comics we might have missed?

Im becoming a cat. Nap time has become increasingly important to me.

My saved url to gocomics doesn’t work to the new site like I would want it to but not being entirely tech illiterate, I dug down through the menus and found “my comics”. I am kind of, sort of, getting the hang of this new site now. I found out that I can post a url to a picture on photobucket and it won’t disappear. I am running horribly late today (three weeks to double knee replacement surgery and I have 50 minutes of exercises to do this morning).

I put two cat videos in my (Bob Wharton) timeline on Facebook and eight picture in the Ten Cats Fan Club page on Facebook.

I am retired an no longer work so today is just Wednesday, but for those of you who still work, it is Humpday. You are over the hump today!

I just tried to print this strip from today. The page printed with the “Graham Harrop Gifts” block, the Rueben Award block, in other words the bottom of the page, but the strip itself didn’t print. Guess they have dis-allowed that as wel! Sigh!

Sheet of ice here in PA today. Had a HECK OF A TIME getting to work! then it’s supposed to get into the 50’s later and also tmr.

I’m with the 9 cats. Tired of winter and all this snow. Oliver, will you wake me, also, when spring comes?

Around here spring just means more endless rain. Vancouverites have been getting a dose of real winter lately and boy are they complaining about it. It’s nothing compared to what I experienced on the prairies but it’s nasty with that arctic wind right now.

I don’t get to sleep that long. I have to work. But I’m with them too. They’re predicting a “messy mix” this afternoon and I could be facing icy roads on my drive home. Just keeping my fingers crossed the road crews will have the roads cleared. I’m not so worried about the condition of the highway as I am the side streets I have to take before I get to the highway. And I’m going to have to walk through ice just to get to my car. We had rain yesterday and that all froze now. Yuck!

Funny comic today. My 9 house cats are spending a lot of time sleeping and the feral colony seems happy with their shelters. They buddy up at night right after they have dinner with sometimes 3 to a bed! Saw a new cat trying to eat last evening. Guess I will have to dig out a trap if he continues to show up. Get him/her fixed! It’s sort of fascinating to watch a new cat who is starving try to sneak a bite of food. They are very polite and move ever so slow. Inching up to a bowl to get a tiny bite. The will pursue this tactic as long as the current cat at the bowl allows it. Many time such activity get a sharp “slap” by the bowl owner so the newby will move to another and then another until he can get something. Oh well, another mouth to feed. So many times they just move on. What I don’t like is well fed, fat and thickly furred “house” cats who are out slumming. Eating food they normally would not touch, but want something different. I send those guys back to their homes. Many times the dominant cat in the colony does it for me. Ok, guys enough of my rambling. Stay warm everyone. More rain comes to Calif. with no place for it to go!

A little widget that Neil Wick, over at D.T. cooked up for having comments and replies all open at once. Plant the address in Bookmarks and then once you are on a comics page, open the book marks and click the Gc replies FOR DICK TRACY and all the replies to comments on the page will open up. He said it has been tested on Chrome and Firefox:

It might snow here tomorrow. Fortunately, I don’t have to go out in it, but I do have a doctor’s appointment Friday afternoon, so I hope if it does, none of it sticks.

Dear little Oliver….just to let you know that MY Oliver, his twin bro, Tyler, and other bro, Christopher, sleep all day with a few minutes here and there to snack and/or use the litter boxes. Their canine bro, Maxie, has a similar routine except no litter box… just me at the end of his leash! Spring will be most welcome here in the north east.

MoreCats, Laughingkitty and Eldo THIS NEW WEBSITE SUCKS! I saw your comments to me, replying to you as a group because it is easier! Been a PAYING member here since 2008, sent them an email tonight, with complaints and comments. Doubt I will hear back from them! If I could post a LOL Smiley I would, but we can’t do that anymore either, can we?

It’s almost 2 AM and no new comics! Arcamax has updated to the Jan 12 comics. but this site has not. Why not?

1.15pm GMT. This site is still showing yesterdays comics. However, over on Comics Sherpa, it’s already today, and has been since yesterday stopped. Visit us on http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/home.html “Comics Sherpa – the site that works.”

Good news, of a sorts. We still can’t post pictures here, but we can post pictures to Photobucket and copy the “Email and IM” link and post it here and it works. You still have to copy and paste in your browser but you don’t have to belong to Facebook to post pictures or see them. I hope some of the others who used to share their funny pictures will start doing so again. I missed Beviek’s and QueenofAmerica’s postings among others.

I posted six pictures today (Thursday) in both Facebook links and Photobucket links. I hope they are not lost if Gocomics replaces the comic with the correct one for Thursday.
