Bleeding Giant blue since 1976, so I can say this:
If you play or coach in a sports league where the championship trophy is named after a man who said, “Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing” (he actually wasn’t the first to say it; he was quoting someone else), and which recently inducted someone into the Hall of Fame who was famous for saying, “If you ain’t cheatin’, you ain’t tryin’”, by definition, you are buying into that philosophy, and don’t get to wring your hands when someone else figures out a way around (or through) the rules that you didn’t think of first.
