A friend did save the fur from brushing his four legged kids with the expectation of having it spun into yarn.

All of my clothes are fuzzy like that.

Kind of an off-hand compliment from pet food lady. But, tis the season or close to it, put your cat fur brushing piles out for the birds to use for nests. You can wet it a little, or put it in some mesh, they will find it.

Cat people know that when your kitty is lying down like this, it is a TRAP! An invitation to lose blood! Although your kitty may permit a token few belly rubs (mine does).

Sooner or later, most cat owners will face this situation. My cat did this when he was a kitten and then outgrew it, thankfully.

I’ve always said, “No outfit is complete without cat hair” >^..^<

For those with facebook accounts, you can go there (Hurricane Animal Shelter), scroll down neat the bottom and finally see a picture of Susan at the awards dinner. A second picture has half of me (in the red sweater) next to Dr Susan, Kate, from Blue Sky Rescue and Honey Bee, who does all of the grooming for Susan and the shelter for free. Kate and her husband, Dick (a retired veterinarian) not only do rescues, they now do spays and neuters for Susan for the same price that Best Friends does. They do surgeries, exams, etc for Susan at either no cost or just the cost of supplies. This is an amazing couple.

As a side note, in scrolling thru the pics, there is one of the dog kennel area. What you DON’T see, is the cat room. Why? Because it’s the Room of Shame.

I don’t have a FB account but could still scroll thru the pics behind the big white “JOIN NOW” box.

I have 9 cats so we can give the Dyson pet hair vacuum a serious workout. The hallway alone requires me to dump the bin on it twice!! Fur or hair yes there is a difference, but many cats have “guard” hairs and fur underneath. All are fun to pet and have in your lap!

Okay…Queen…I see it…including ALL of you in the red sweater..2 ladies are on your left. Is the witch the one kneeling/holding the award? I scrolled down and saw lots of dogs and a few cats up for adoption…also a cute bunny.

Yes, Annie, cat hair WILL do that! :-D
