Some days you should just stay in bed.

Nature is not benign. It considers us a threat and/or a meal.

Getting in touch with nature is one thing. Nature getting in touch with you can be a whole different experience

I consider “enjoying the Great Outdoors” just a ploy to get me where the bugs can attack.

I love The Outdoors theoretically, but I’ve always felt The Outdoors should stay there, and I should stay on the porch or in the car or whatever. . .hasn’t helped any though. Last night on the way to the loo I ran into the door jam. . .sigh

    From “World War Z”:

Andrew Fassbach: Mother Nature is a serial killer. No one’s better. Or more creative. Like all serial killers, she can’t help the urge to want to get caught. What good are all those brilliant crimes if no one takes the credit? So she leaves crumbs. Now the hard part, why you spend a decade in school, is seeing the crumbs. But the clue’s there. Sometimes the thing you thought was the most brutal aspect of the virus, turns out to be the chink in its armor. And she loves disguising her weaknesses as strengths. She’s a bitch.

We brought nature inside. We adopted the sweetest bunny. He has full run of the house, and never causes a problem. From my easy chair I can watch the toy airplane club fly their remote control airplanes. Very interesting.

Considering the horrible things man has done to nature (and unfortunately will continue to do so) you can’t blame nature for wanting to get us in the shorts.
