It’s midnight in cold windy Las Vegas, where are you all?

bbear I just realized I can’t highlight on my phone ( or I don’t know how) so I won’t be able to see your pics this week.

Bummer

We got here at midnight last night, picked up the rental car… Chrysler Pacifica, brand new, couldn’t figure out how to turn it on! No keys, figured it out, backed out of the space and when Dale stepped on the gas, the car lunged forward.

Scared us to death. Car did that every time you came to a stop.

Took it back to Avis this morning and got a nice Kia Sedona. Told Avis the Chrysler was a death trap!

Cat ownership not linked to mental health problems, study says

Actually that was a headline to a story on CNN. Lost it’s format along the way, I guess. Anyway it is a reassuring headline! Rose and Dale, stay safe!

Cats, you need to learn some basic economics, like supply and demand.

There is a “Steve” meme going on the internet. Here is a cat, oddly named Steve, who got caught in a possum live trap because he is stupid. Did I mention that there is a flame war also going on because a poster, oddly enough named Steve, who objects to the “Steve” meme.

I am so ready for tomorrow. Every day, my pain level rises. This makes any fear about the surgery or the aftermath diminish as I just want to get this over with. I can see my Gocomics, including Ten Cats on the mobile Gocomics app, but if there is a way to see comments or even post comments, I can’t figure out a way to do so. So I am going silent until I come home next week some time. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!!! There is joy in Mudville!!!! My laptop hasn’t been working properly for weeks. I turned it on this afternoon just for the heck of it and, lo! and behold! It’s working and I can comment! However, I’m now afraid to turn it off again.

Gloriously warm weather here in Boston today – upper 60s. Had the windows open and the cats were loving the sunshine and all the smells on the breeze. We never let them out, the neighborhood is just too busy.

Bob,Good luck tomorrow with the knee surgery. I had one knee done twice, 10 months apart,,didn’t follow directions to the " T". Just had hip replaced a few months ago, the “T” was followed, and I was walking 1 mile at a time in about 3 1/2 weeks. Follow the “T” and you’ll be fit as a fiddle in a few short weeks…Will be thinking of you tomorrow..

I’ll keep you in my prayers tomorrow, BBEAR! Pray that all goes well. >^..^<
