There are other funny aspects of our society. I often imagine myself as a boy scout from the planet Zarg who came to Earth to get his merit badge in primitive cultures. When you look at our society from the outside, many of the truths we hold to be self-evident, aren’t, most of what we obsess over isn’t really that important and many of the things we do are downright funny.

he FBI and CIA have absolutely no right to refuse to conduct the investigation demanded by the President. He is President, and the office has to be respected, simply as a part of respecting the country. Consequently, a through investigation of every shred of evidence that exists which proves that Obama authorized a wire tap of Trump Tower needs to be completed. If it does turn out that all of that evidence proves that Obama did something wrong, then he needs to be held accountable. Conversely, if it turns out that all of the available evidence exists between Trump’s ears, then that areas needs to be investigated with equal effort, and the results used to prove that one of these men is unfit to be president—and it isn’t Obama. The idea of this guy in the same hemisphere as the nuclear football scares the rather badly. I was assured by Republican friends that he would have sane people around him who would prevent him from doing anything totally crazy. Who? Kelly Ann? Bannon? Miller? He has selected “people around him” who are crazier than he is, and totally convinced that the world is out to get them. If that isn’t a recipe for disaster, what is?
