My cat Romeo used to hook the nails of his front foot on the screen door and make it go BAM BAM BAM! You’d swear there was a 200 lb man out there pounding on the door!

At least it’s not Fred Flintstone at the door. (Seriously. How come Wilma never heard Fred yelling though the front door which the saber-toothed cat locked him out of?)

How can she be sure it’s the cat?

Our dogs can’t reach the doorbell so they just “Paw” the door :-)

This time it’s not the cat.

It’s actually Earl, he locked himself out.

Yet another reason not to own a cat! lo!

I had a neighbour years ago who had a cat that learned to do that. Much more civilized than scratching the door!

I had to reverse the lever-handles on my doors, because my dog had learned how to open them. Eventually, I was forced to changed them completely after he’d figured out how to push up and open them !

My dog barks to go out and barks to come in. When I was little our dog would ring the door bell

Our cow would hook her horn under the chain fastening the gate to pull it off the nail.

Then she would step outside to eat whatever she wanted, but she never learned to relatch the gate.

She loved those crabapples. Every time the tree blossoms, I think back to her.

Stupid cat! Just disconnect the doorbell.

That’s cats for you.
