I’ve done some of those tests. One said I had an IQ of 161. Another one put me at around 142. I don’t know what my IQ really is, but those tests don’t rate your IQ with any accuracy at all.
I saw one of these click baits on Facebook and the example question was one that tested visual acuity. So if I am color blind, I am also dumb? Was that the point?
Of course, I have seen many click bait pictures that don’t fit the description like a picture of foam in an ear and the line is about curing diabetes.
Those tests are rather fun to take if you have a few minutes but I wouldn’t trust the result. They always try to make you out to be younger, smarter, richer, prettier than you know you are.
I was curious about my IQ (everyone tells me that I’m one of the smartest most intelligent person they know) so I bought a standerdized IQ test from the bookstore. What I discovered was that the test was more about what you knew and remembered than how intelligent you were. One question I remember had a list of book titles and asked which title was not a novel Charles Dickens, the only way I could have known the correct answer was to have all his book titles memorized.
The first time that my IQ was checked, I was in my mid-teens and I scored 136. The next time, I was in my early 30’s and, for a job, a psycologist administered it and I scored 138. So, I guess I’m getting smarter. lol Since I’m now 76, maybe I should get it checked again. Maybe I would qualify for MENSA! LOL That last part was for a joke. I know you don’t have to be at 140 for MENSA. And I know that I wouldn’t want to join!

I don’t trust them for an IQ, but some of them are fun to answer.

Clickbait. Just proves how gullible people can be.
