Marigold was singing the blues?! Didn’t even look like she was.

Sing about the pains of not having an even number of limbs.

When the Blues Brothers first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 1978, one had a black hat and one had a brown hat. I appreciate the reference, if it is one.

Somewhere there’s a list of things that make your blues singing more authentic. Being a unicorn isn’t on that list.

“I’m blue cause I ain’t got the blues.”

I hope that’s not one of Dad’s hats. He will be singing the blues when he sees the hole in his hat.

Reminds me of the time I wrote “The Shihtzu Dog Blues.” Mine was about this effective.

Now I’m imagining Sleipnir as a unicorn (with an extra leg to the eight).

Does anyone remember “Adventures in Babysitting?” “Nobody gets out of here without singin’ the blues.”

Deep down, isn’t that what the blues is all about? :)
