With his new ‘gift’ from Sam & Lizz, Tracy could quickly and easily cosplay as ‘Detective Mask’

I think that’s not Sailor Moon herself on the poster behind Honeymoon. As one might expect, the Sailor Moon uniform is a combination Japanese schoolgirl-plus-sailor outfit. I used to watch Sailor Moon (dubbed in English) when I had the time, on, I’m pretty sure, Saturday TV back in the ’90s off a Toledo station when I was working in Ohio….

But Honeymoon’s costume, whatever it is, should be charming. The question that still looms large over CosUCon is, who will be the villain and with what villainy? I had already noted yesterday that Tracy’s new yellow Spirit-style mask would serve him well as his costume if such be needed for the investigation….

I wonder if Bonnie, Joe, and/or Mysta will be attending the convention, too?

I hope Cinnamon Knight and Black Piranha will get cameos.

I have to wonder if Astor’s brother will be the crime’s victim. Hmmm… Could the case involve stolen or counterfeit merchandise?

My fingers are so fat I just accidentally deleted my poem when I tried to read the comments. Sigh it’s gonna be one of those days!

But I am complaining! (Just check out my comments on Endtown) As for Dick Tracy, first Spirit, then Harold Teen, now Astroboy! Come on now! Now, I admit having seen Astroboy as a kid, but I struggle to think how this crossover is going to help Dick Tracy expand readership!

Perhaps the problem with Dick Tracy is that it is a Tribune flagship property, and Tribune is going to run it no matter what is being churned out – as in the Locher years…

Though, granted, this is more entertaining than what Locher was putting out.

Mysta was dating the Spirit. This is Honeymoon….the original Moon Maid’s daughter. And why do I have this nagging feeling of impending disaster at this upcoming Comic Con??

For the late night crowd, here is a video of a weekend police operation at a theme park north of Toronto. The park, which remains closed for the season, reported a break and enter by three masked males. A nearly York Regional Police helicopter used an infrared camera to quickly guide a canine unit to the three males who turned out to be 15- and 16-year-old boys who had stolen candy from a store in the park. They were released into the custody of their parents.
