Well . . . that’s the building George Washington built to thresh grain. The procedure was to have horses run around the building, trampling the grain spread on the circular floor. (Running kept the horses from relieving themselves.) So, yeah, you did have a bunch of horse’s asses in there, going nowhere in a hurry.

Humans are a bit of an original lot. They act most foolish when they intend to act least foolish. I consulted a contrarian friend on the topic, asking if it were normal for humans to do precisely the opposite of their conscious intentions as a matter of course. As it was denied with vigorous vehemence, one might take that to be an affirmation to the point.

They’re on the same page, making fools of themselves at the same level both inside, and outside..

Old men are making scarecrows? It’s arts and crafts time for the old timers. By the way-way, how old does one have to be an old man?

That pretty much covers the possibilities: it’s going to happen whether inside or outside.

That’s why I’m part of the underground.
