I’ve moved 15 times in 40 yrs. It’s easier than spring cleaning (jk)

Every tree, every garden bed, every scratch on the wall, is a memory. If we ever move, it will be so far away that we can never see this house again.

I agree completely. While I don’t regret the times I’ve moved, and I love the results (living in a new home, etc.) I absolutely despise the process – putting stuff in storage, staging the house, selling it, moving, unpacking, etc.

I totally understand this process. I’m going through it right now myself. Torn between staying where I am or moving to a nicer place closer to my son and his family. Caveat is moving away from my best friends and comfort zone. Right now it’s a neck and neck race either way.

This would be a total mystery to anyone who didn’t see the visit to the kids a week or two ago.

Is there going to be a reader survey on what the Days should do?
