Marge! Help! I don’t remember enough of my 8th grade German to decipher everything these cats are saying! I think I can translate “Good morning, dog.” And “katzen” is cat, right? Or is it “cats”?
Good morning and happy Hump Day, Graham Crackers. Many thanks to Starfighter441 for the translation. My German was too rusty for me to understand the second and third panels.
Hi, Good Afternoon, Graham Crackers! Hope all is well!
I did this following translation before I read starfighter441’s (a very good translation) – okay here is mine:
Good morning, dogs! Are dogs cleverer than cats? If pigs will fly. There are no pills against foolishness. I will be right back. – Ja, Fräulein: Yes, Miss. – You not short mit der with the brains.
Oh – and in the comments is another German word: Katzenjammer by Carl Rennhack (I wonder if he has German ancestors) … meaning is hangover, being in the blues. Have also seen that’s possible to use both: “more clever” and “cleverer”.
Anyone have experience with “stomatitis” . I have a older black female who has been diagnosed with it. Looks like a full mouth extraction!! It concerns me. Scooter is about 11 years old and is just a big fluffy ball of fun. Of late she sleeps a lot and has been off her feed (obviously). I don’t want to loose her! Vet is optimistic. My oldest tuxedo, “Punky” must have part of his tail removed since he constantly attacks it. He has a rare long named issue, I just call him “nuts”. But it will be dealt with. If you have cats you must care for them. They did not ask to be sick.
Have a great week all, it very hot in central cal..around 100 today.

Good morning Dogs. Are dogs more clever than cats? When pigs fly. There are no anti-stupidity pills. We’ll be right back.

Are the cats getting in touch with their inner “Katzenjammer Kids”?!?

Subtle signs your kitty has a second family somewhere in the neighborhood: he comes home to you dressed up by someone else.

Cat shaming: does it work, or is this little a$$hole proud of what he did? A catitude post.
