It may sound funny but gadgets can be daunting. I have a friend who has 3 remotes and it takes him 15 minutes to turn on the TV and start the DVD player. I get a chuckle but then I wind up with my setup which has a Blu-Ray and laptop connected with switches and if something doesn’t work right it takes me awhile to get the TV on, LOL!
I am 66 and tech illiterate. Do not own a cell phone. Am a flat earther when it comes to computers. Which is funny because while in the AF I worked on bleeding edge tech and even went to a school to repair mainframes. The computers we had then were troubleshot with 56 on off switches which took hours to run thru checks. This was prior to GPS, on some of the planes I worked on they had an Inertial Nav systems, the pilot p[rogramed them and they were supposed to always know where they were without any outside input. I also worked on Radio and TV equipment after the AF. But computers? When in college after the AF the IC was just starting to move from military equipment to the rest of the country. I am a EE. I just stopped trying to keep up years ago as changes were coming so fast. Tubes to transistors took many years while transistors took a far shorter time span. In my AF electronics school, we were taught about tubes and transistors. 5 years later I was sent to a factory school to learn about ICs.I know little about computer software so do very little with my computer.I have been retired for 19 years now, I totally understand where Tia is coming from

She didn’t charge it. She approached it slowly and non-aggressively.
