Caulfield, if you go too far, you’ll hear about it.

Funny and true. I use ‘about’ if I cannot remember a specific answer and it is really not that important.

And an intellectual (self-annointed) won’t say " I am about this smart." He will tell you over and over exactly how smart he thinks he is.

If I walk that distance in an hour, I say I’m ‘about’ tired, which understates the actual by a large margin.

I do not exactly get this. :)

“I’m about this smart”, he said, patting himself on his ass.

Proper response to question in last panel: “If I say yes, will you stop?”

So Frazz has only had almost enough?

Those would be Caulfield’s ideas or if you must, hypotheses and no more unless he proves it. Then he can come back till then, just fielding ideas is adeqate.

Usually if someone is good at something it will be hard to hide it.
