Calvin is handling a hornet sting pretty well for a six year old.

Hornets are way worse than bees!

I have been stung by bees. It really hurts. I can’t imagine how hornets and wasps are worse… I’ll check…

I was stung by something way bigger than a bee while praying. A sign from God. Better that than a lightning bolt.

I once sat on a wasp, unknowingly, and got stung – yes, on my butt – when I got up. I immediately put some household ammonia on it. Pain gone.

Calvin should not be mad at Hobbes. He only asked if it was a bee, he didn’t ask him to chase it away.

Got hit in the shoulder one time before I had rotator cuff surgery. Should felt great great after the pain went away from the sting!

I’m terrified of bees and wasps. I almost got stung by a wasp in my sleep because there was one in my room. It gave itself away when I heard a faint “buzzing” noise one morning. It was literally hovering over me.

Small things can be so frightening.

Bees die after they sting. (As is that’s any consolation).Hornets keep coming back for seconds, and thirds, and more!And the hornet sting is MUCH worse! A bee sting is an ‘owie,’ a hornet sting is ‘OMG, I’m fixin to die!’
