Garfield you need to understand that Jon’s got work to do

Too many folks in this world who would rather be hated than ignored and who either don’t know or don’t care that the kind of attention they get depends on the kind of attention they give.

In child Psychology they say a kid that’s being bad is doing it to get attention with the thought that even bad attention is better than none at all.

It looks like he did not provide him enough food today.

Hmm… Haven’t we seen this before…?

why wasn’t that scratch not hit? A cat can’t hit you so badly it hurt but it certainly can scratch you!

BANG! ZOOM!

Something like this happened to me just last night. I was walking down the hall and the cat reached out and snagged my foot with his claw as I passed for no particular reason. Like Jon, I turned around and talked to him about it. It sure got him the attention he wanted.

Negative attention is still attention.

He is NOT awful or BAD. He is a CAT. Get with the program!

Cats will never my attention if they behave like that.
