There used to be a restaurant near me that offered something called “Insanity Wings”. If you could eat ten of them, they were free. The closest anyone ever got was six.
Hop peppers are definitely a southwestern taste. I (Canadian) took a couple of my Texas clients out for hot wings. As I was tearing up, I worried that I might have ordered the wings a little too hot; until I saw them wiping up the leftover sauce with the cucumber slices.

I hate so called “hot” food at fast food places. You buy based on their description and quickly realize plain catsup is hotter.
