I want a third opinion. What’s the Holy Ghost think?

This must be inspired by that horrid Christmas song where the kid thinks Jesus won’t let his dying mother into heaven unless she’s wearing fancy new shoes … and the narrator of the song agrees! He assumes that the only thing he can do to help this destitute family whose mother is at death’s door is to buy her some nice shoes, so Jesus won’t refuse to even look at her when she passes on.

Welcome back, Mr. Benton; your unique perspective has been missed over the last month. Today’s strip got the first out loud chuckle of my day.

In the mythology the Head Being is so bright that even angels cannot look at it without damage.

All souls go to heaven, not soles.

It’s been almost a month since the last new cartoon! Are there gonna be any new ones or should I just take this one out of my daily rotation?
