Clearly a restaurant that doesn’t see a need for customers.
A reputation for being a good tipper gets around pretty quickly too. If a person gets good service they should be willing to show their appreciation in the tip. I always tip in cash, makes it easier to figure tips out at the end of the night.
They must dine out a lot, if they have a reputation for being bad tippers.

I had a boyfriend once who was a horrible tipper. I used to leave an extra tip behind him as we left.
