Y’all are missing the point of Michael’s rant. His point is that he isn’t the only one who engages in juvenile pranks, but he IS the only one who gets punished for it. I’d be ranting, too!
Many parents pressure their kids to be popular. That can be a huge factor in succumbing to peer pressure. George Washington said “It is better to be a loner than have friendships with those of bad moral character.” Good advice, but very difficult to attempt in many situations that are popularity contests.
