Cheer up, Arlo. It could have been worse. For covering the effects of time, nothing beats a Burqini.

Well, she did say “swim dress”.

What does baptism have to do with anything here??

Amen to that.

Certain religions baptize members when they adults. Often they dress is white for the ceremony

I once asked my grandmother why we had to wear bathing suits when we went swimming since they obviously weren’t necessary and, after all, weren’t we ‘made’ in God’s image? Bad move! I got myself AND my mother in trouble that day – and never did get any kind of straight answer from my grandmother! Many years later, I finally figured out that “straight answers” come from libraries, not relatives, but it was a lesson that was hard learned and tedious (I was a slow learner!)

You know, considering the rate of obesity in this country, I think that most men on beaches should consider Burqinis, too. I wonder how Arlo would look in a “swim dress”? Most likely better than without one.

Maybe by the time we get back to Gene & family there may be a baptism
