Seinfeld stole this storyline (see the episode Soup Nazi ).
Hobbes has a nice imagination.
Yes, snoogy, woogy, knutschi……
Boopsie Woopsie. I’m sure Hobbes has a million of them.
$5.00 will get you $10.00 that Calvin does marry….Susie Derkins.;-D
Hobbes is just one big lovable puddy cat. Bitsy Pookums? Ya gotta be putting’ me on.
In true Seinfeld fashion, my husband and I call each other “Schmoopie”.
And knowing that Hobbes is Calvin’s alter ego, a pooty pie is what actually Calvin wants for him mself – deep inside.
My wife and I had ‘pet names’ for each other but the used was ‘Sweet Pea’ ! ! !
Pootie Pie??? Shades of the 70’s and ‘Mr. Natural’.

I’m with Calvin here, there is NO WAY a pet name for a loved one would have those first three letters like that.
For the record I’m good with the ‘pie’ part.
I tried calling my wife Moose (my favorite uncle called everyone that) but my wife’s reaction convinced me to stick with Dear and Hey You.
Is it just me, or does “Bitsy Pookums” sound a lot like “Susie Derkins”?
Love is a many splintered thing!
I am not one for giving “pet names” to anything. The closest was one old car I had I jokingly called it, “the green monster”.
If I called my wife “Pooty Pie”, she would probably call me something that would get me banned if I repeated it. I think I tried a name like that once and she wanted to know what was up with the baby talk.
I’m single.
Don’t feel sad for me. Because I’m certainly not sad! Quite the opposite.
