The dogs and cats on that island are taking Bob Barker WAY too seriously! I’ve always kind of assumed that Eddie is a virgin, although obviously he’d like to keep what he was born with! The real question is, why didn’t Pauly stay?
There is some truth here; About 10 years ago a little girl down the street brought home a stray kitten that showed up at her grammar school play ground. Halloween was just a couple of weeks later and the kitten follower her and her friends around the neighborhood during trick or treating. I opened the door to give out treats and the half grown kitten (Calvert) ran in and I caught him put him back out. The next day, he was back and running in every time we opened the door! We couldn’t keep him out. We finally worked out with the little girls’ family that we would take over his care. He’s been with us ever since and has basically taken over our household! Cats can be amazingly smart and assertive!
I demand a rewrite, or a redraw, giving Pauly his full natural-born rights in the land of cats and dogs. I want to see what Captain Eddie looks like sitting on his shoulder.
Our only defense against the Old Ones just may well be cats. Their feline defenses against such beings at least on a personal level is the feline. Their “cat scratch fever” is fatal to them, just a bother to us. Cherish them they are our soft furry wall against them. At least in our dreams where they can stalk so will the feline…

Eddie didn’t want “neuticals”?

I think Eddie ‘went on a trip’ in ’69 and never really came back.

Some people believe that cats have huge egos.

I can understand the dogs using leashes, but the cats should know better.
