Aha, our old friend who couldn’t be categorized in Jacob’s ideal “mutant pride” naming system? I can easily see how his humiliation at the hands of Jacob’s thugs could turn into a vendetta.

Something does reek here…and should be wrapped up in that newspaper. Anyone can fill in some holes for me (not a bullet reference)…just who is Jacob exactly? Any links to past strips, please?

@coffeeturtle: Jacob is Jacob Jackrabbit. Endtown started with him being a newspaper columnist. He’s been an influence in many stories. The biggest one being where he took the position of defense lawyer in the “Milk Trial” story. Because of that he became Mayor of Endtown.

This should work as long as Cooper does not lose his head. You got to go back to Book one for that!

One thing that hasn’t changed since WWIII is clandestine politicking and policy-making. I wonder who Cooper’s contacts are and what their agenda is apart from removing Jacob as mayor? Are they tied in with the wolves vs. pigs fracas?

I wonder who these all knowing contacts are and where they fit into this story he is suppressing.

Why do so many people think Cooper is a fish? Thought he was an example of what happens when the mutation strikes while you’re self-medicated.

Well, Cooper should handle this with some fin-esse…And he never liked Jacob, that’s for sure.

Jacob always was a tad too fond of himself and his own opinions.He was deceptive and dishonest and didn’t play well with others. oh, also a troublemaker. If he couldn’t find some trouble, he would make some.
