    Tracyville is a town

    That really is quite small

It seems that everyone knows each other

The short and also the tall

    Every corner that you turn

    There’s someone that you know

In the summer with the heat

    Or winter in the snow

Is it luck that Honeymoon should

    Require some school aid

From just the one who’s gonna feel

    A serious financial raid?

Tracy told of their escape, the Nitrates on the lam

Duplicity is their true North, they now concoct a scam.

Honeymoon has school work, she reads and writes on Lincoln

Would love to interview Thorndike, to fine-tune what she’s thinkin’.

Junior knows the woman, an introduction is arranged

Leaves out the part about the niece from whom she is estranged.

Elsewhere Jenkins serves a drink, the butler knows his place

Thorndike’s liquid evenings stop just shy of a disgrace.

Jenkins offers that he felt the recording just a myth

Domain keeps shady company, few know who he is with.

A Tracy and a Thorndike shall meet up very soon

Look to see a mystery unfold ‘neath a full moon.

Honeymoon will meet up soon to speak with Ms. Thorndike

Treachery she just may see, which Domain shall not like.

Note the moon behind President Lincoln in the “Disposable” panel.

Well, I called it yesterday. If/when this fails, it will be because of something unforeseen. Unforeseen coming up! :-)

I can see the ending now – one of the Nitrates saying, And we would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for that darn kid!

Does anyone else think that Honeymoon looks older in this strip?

I agree, Honeymoon seems to have aged a bit more.

    Jerry Lewis has passed.

Closest direct connection to topic might be Jerry & Dean’s movie, “Artists and Models,” about the comic book industry.

So, the pot is stirred (Auntie Bea’s martini is shaken, of course) and Honeymoon may become the link between the mark and the scam and the Tracy-led MCU. If Ms. Thorndike gushes about her new Lincoln discovery and soon-to-be acquisition to little Ms. “Detective” Tracy, we can fairly enough infer that the the story will be relayed one way or another to Pop-Pop. At that point, his suspicions about a Nitrate con could be raised….

Bike lanes are there to make the mayor feel good. Bike riders without a lot of experience should never ride on a street with bike lanes.

Crosswalks are there for pedestrians. If you need to use a crosswalk, you must get off the bike and walk.

Sidewalk riding is allowed for people under twelve — but don’t cross any streets.
