Everyone will do anything to win this game…even a unicorn.

It wouldn’t be a story about poker without two pairs of blacks, aces and eights.

I think this is starting to be like Calvinball, except the other player wants to play baseball

Let’s play Dragon Poker. Since I’m facing east on an odd-numbered Tuesday, all of my even-numbered unicorns are wild, except for sixes…

I remember watching this old movie from the 80s where this guy was playing poker with an African guy. He had a full house, but the African said he lost, because he had what was called a “Mombassa straight”(or something like that), and it was just a mixture of hearts and diamonds, all even numbers, plus a jack. Apparently, that beats a full house in Africa. :)
