It’s hard for the eyes to picture your car PERIOD when faced with such visual chaos. It’s like being asked to say the word GREEN when the letters are all in RED.
So, one last post. My decision to stop posting on GoComics has nothing to do with Frog Applause or Teresa or any of the wonderful folks who post here. My life has become extremely complicated and I simply no longer have the time or energy. XXXOOO to one and all.
Been there, done that. Had a major breakdown of the old car while taking my late Mom shopping some years ago; had to call for a tow truck and foot the resultant bills (for tow; for cab home).
My problem with today’s art is that it reminds me so much of the logo for the annual Black Swamp Arts Festival, which annually prominently features a gecko (put that in your search engine and play it!)….
Without knowing your circumstances, sir, best of luck, William Neal McPheeters. Once a Froglandian, always a Froglandian, and welcome back at any time if your life allows….
My car was the least of my worries. With my tiny lizard eyes, I watched myself being pried out of the vehicle, gently removed from the spattered windscreen and placed into a waiting ambulance. It all seemed quite dramatic, but I didn’t actually care. It was another lifetime, another person. All the care and worry and concerns of that person fell away like old skin moulting. I’d only had two payments left on that car, too. Oh well. Onward.

I’d rather visualize my car be anole-d or newt-ed or even salamander-ed, but not toad.

Not that often, but I have seen vehicles that are owned by others being towed, only to visualize what the cost may be at their expense..

Lots of cars being towed around here due to drivers underestimating the depth of street flooding.
Where do people get the idea their regular, everyday vehicles are amphibious?
