sweet little pucky, even with three legs he’d still be a mighty hunter.

I’m surprised Puck’s toe beans are bubblegum. I thought darker cats have licorice toe beans.

funny to see the boys’ different reactions to the bird magnet. elvis unimpressed, keeping paws and tail busy holding down the reporting desk.

As cute as Lupin smooshing his face in the window is, little Puck wiggling his toes while sipping coffee with a big grin is absolutely adorable. That is a very happy kitty :) Elvis on the other hand …

georgia is such an excellent artist, the way she portrays the glass in windows.

I don’t think I’ve seen Elvis writing with his tail before.

Instead of being a mighty hunter, Puck must content himself with a darn good cup of coffee and a fascinating nature show.

She-Who-Has-My-Wife-Pinned-To-The-Computer-Chair would not be pleased. As far as She is concerned there are too many birds around here. The magpies and the honey-eaters try to intimidate her. Magpies are serious birds, and She is wary of them. The honey-eaters come in mobs, but She will have a go if one comes too low.

A squadron of them did a low pass over me as well, in tight formation. The RAAF could not have done it better.

(She makes an exception for the crested pigeons. They are a bit dim and don’t notice they are being stalked until the last minute. And then they just fly away. One day they will be a bit too slow.)

Puck couldn’t look happier! He’s glad to just lie there and watch them.

    Elvis has a prehensile tail??!

We once had one of those clear plastic bird feeders that attaches to the window with suction cups. There were a few moments when our old female tabby went into hunting mode as she didn’t realize that that bird was still outside.

Sorry guys. I’m glad that you are indoor kitties.

I don’t want the little birdies to become cat treats.

Puck looks so happy in the last panel, sipping at his full cup of coffee. Elvis is grumpy as usual, and Lupin is the happy cat of adventure.

I think I’ve discovered why our kitties are rarin’ to go all night; COFFEE! Somehow they magically turn their water into the stuff & careen around at all hours, especially the 2 a.m. “Running of the Cats” mini-marathon! Mystery solved! Hats off to Georgia & the Boys!

ah, Kitty TV and a hot cuppa. The only improvement would’ve been smell-o-vision.

My oldest cat, Murphy (18 years old), sits in the window and “clicks” at birds. She makes these weird clicking sounds, I’ve never heard another cat do it.

Are there any falling leaves near the bird magnet? I get awfully nervous about falling leaves, this time of year. If only there were a brave hero who could save us all from the falling leaves…

We call our Mortimer a Great and Might Hunter when he comes caroling through the house around the stuffed mouse in his mouth. He always brings it out as if he’s caught it special for us. In a way, I guess he has.
