I need to get new Halloween decorations because mine are so old. I have had them since I was a kid. I love this month when Halloween movies and shows are on television!

What? Waiting until October to put out Halloween decorations? What is this world coming to? And to think stores have had decorations AND CANDY for a couple of months now.

Now I’m going to have that song stuck in my head all day, maybe all month

Too late. The Xmas decorations have been up since after Labor Day around here.

There really are “pumpkin carols”. “I’m dreaming of the Great Pumpkin” and “Oh pumpkin cards” are the two I remember best. But I know there are more.

When I was in middle school we had a math teacher who would organize Pumpkin Carolling on Halloween. It was a strange school, but fun.

It caught on in a flash

They did the mash

They did the Monster Mash!

Back in the fourth grade, I learned a 12-days of Halloween song. There were a couple other “carol” type Halloween songs, too.

It is not a thing because there are not enough Halloween songs for it to become a thing. Thriller, Monster Mash, I put a Spell on You, and Witchy Woman, over and over gets old real fast.
