Thanks ! One time I could just sit in a vehicle and watch the world go by and me not at the wheel. Roughly a 30 mile drive each way generously proffered by our hosts ! Flickr pics to post in the near future.
The problem being that they’ve already been caught, and, on top of everything else, are now escaped felons.I like these two, though. It’s interesting that they are making the criminals in to sympathetic characters.
Silver has little choice. He could still get the death penalty if he is recaptured. He has no prospects other than a life on the run with the chance of death if caught.
Silver says, “Wish me luck.” He’ll be lucky if he doesn’t get caught.
It’s interesting that GoComics decided to make all the falling leaves dark green. Shouldn’t most if them be changing to yellow or something before falling off the trees in abundance?
Sprocket may be an ageing hippy with no sartorial sense, but she is by far the smartest in this crime duo. I hope she makes it out of this storyline alive.
Why is Silver facing the death penalty again? I forgot which character he killed (no one seems to know Sprocket killed Stiletta and there were mitigating circumstances for that).
I think Sprocket’s getting ready to drop a dime to Tracy, exposing Domain’s scheme & negotiating their capture with an understanding Silver won’t get the chair.
Thesnowleopard, you may be right! I can’t remember what Silver was charged with, if any. His escape could have been made whist he was being transferred to his arraignment. In that case, he hasn’t been formally charged with a crime. If he has already been serving time, maybe they were being transported to their parole hearing. That makes sense, too. He and Sprocket might be guilty of attempted murder of Vitamin Flintheart, but that’s not a capital offense.
Falling leaves. Shattered dreams. Crumbling schemes. Silver is going to a fate he does not see with clarity. Maybe Sprocket will try to intervene, perhaps by tipping the fuzz. But it’s already fall….

Apparently, Sprocket is not a natural salesman, though. She didn’t convince her brother.

Why doesn’t he get into insurance? That’s as big a scam as anything, and completely legal!

Isn’t being an investment counselor sort of a high profile job? Silver needs to do something that won’t attract attention, since he’s a wanted man.

I have a feeling that Sprocket would clean up pretty well.
