Study….the light goes on!

Studying was not for some of us, but many of us still got through college. Hang in there Peppermint Patty, you shall amount to something.

My daughter, who is in all Honors courses, feels that she did terrible on her Physics essay test. When she was getting ready for school she dressed to the nines and put on make-up. She told me, “If I’m going to go down, I’m going to look good doing it!”

I never had that thought when I was a kid.

Yes, studying is good for you.

What’s an hour of your time each day before the test?

It’ll all be worth it in the end.

I once handed in an essay test with curses in it. The idea was to write a creative story and include a number of things we learned on the specific topic – differences and similarities between Ancient Greece and Rome. I was so worried I’d fail, I tracked down the teacher to let her know. She said I didn’t have to worry. I got an A.

I got an “A” on a geography test because like Linus, I knew where Ipanema was.

When I woke up on the Monday morning, I really thought it was flu and I couldn’t face going into work. But I felt better after I had been in the bath. Turns out it was just the common cold.

My cold was completely gone when I wrote that comment to you.

That’s strange how your grass grew again. That’s not normal at all. LOL! I love the smell of cut grass. A perfume should be made of it.
