Did a short stint doing background work on the Showtime series Billions. I have a scene where I’m 2 feet away from Clancy Brown, the actor who played Captain Hadley who beats Andy in Shawshack Redemption and voices Mr. Crabs on Spongebob Squarpants (Gweedo’s favorite show!) No dialogue but off camera he was talking to me, asking what I used to do before acting. LOL! Rays the actor, I’m just doing whatever to pay the bills! He actually made me feel like an equal for 1/2 a second, which was so cool. Hopefully the scene doesn’t end up on the cutting room floor. I drove the makeup people crazy, they kept wiping the sweat off my face!
Domain is coming to realize that Silver isn’t a subservient minion who does whatever the Boss tells him. Silver considers himself a skilled professional, hired for his expertise; and so he’s going to play the con his way. And remind the boss that, despite Domain’s efforts to split them up, he and Sprocket are a team.
I don’t think Domain likes minions who think for themselves; even if they net him ten times what he originally planned to take
Silver never was the brightest light on the tree. Here, he’s a proud admitted scammer – a con. He has escaped custody with an accomplice and he turns over $480,000 to the guy who sprung him? Secondly, when the old bag (Bea) finds out she was scammed, won’t she tie the scam to Pubic Domain? He isn’t some guy who just showed up. He has a big mansion, drives a $200,000 Rolls or Bentley, and probably is in good standing at the Country Club. How’s he gonna get back into the woodwork? Jus’ askin’!
I think the question here is, “who’s conning who?” Silver is conning Bea. I believe Domain is conning Silver and Silver is conning Domain. Who will come out on top in this triangle?
I can hardly believe Public Domain broke two heavy criminals out of prison for such a piddling score as only $50000! Even Silver’s big boosted take, ten times the original plan, seems low to me for such a rare (supposed) artifact! And Silver’s proposed share for himself and Sprocket, just $20000, seems so low as to be not worth the effort (even if Public Domain has an implicit threat keeping his hold on the Nitrates). Nonetheless, Domain may not want to “share” at all. Silver is treading a thin line here….
For someone like Bea, a rich widow living alone (except for the butler and her niece, when she’s around) in a mansion, it is believable that she would have $50,000 at her immediate disposal, I guess. But half a million? She would at least have to cash in some securities, or an investment, or something, to come up with the cash, wouldn’t she?
Questions: DID they actually get it in cash….I am assuming so, as this would kind of be an “under the table” deal as Mrs. Thorndike wouldn’t want the Smithsonian, etc. to know about it’s (the tapes) existence. Otherwise, SHE could scam them back, lol…..or at least cancel it until the taping is verified by others. Secondly…if they DO have it in cash…are we forgetting Silver is a cold blooded KILLER…..who may plan on doing the same to Domain as that actor who wanted to get paid before, and keep ALL $500,000 for himself.

Good morning guys!
Huh? $20,000 for Silver and Sprocket. $200,000 would be more appropriate.

OK, people like this never do business without discussing a cut.

Perhaps Silver doesn’t want too big a cut, because a really large fee would have Sprocket picking out houses and curtains to settle down.
