Well, so far so good for the Nitrates….looks like Public Domain could have an out by throwing Silver under the bus.

Fabulous art. What a treat: Honeymoon and Tracy in classic profile, followed up by her perfectly drawn hand pointed out the window and right through the panel. Were leafs not green, the perfect scene. Imoto Chan’s glowing antennae a reminder that Tracyville is a very interesting place to be.

Looks to me like Silver and Sprocket got away with a quarter million, a nice Ram pickup, and if they are smart, they’ll head west. Some part of me wants to see them get away with it.

On second thought, they had better head to the nearest Wal-Mart parking lot, go in and get Sprocket some clothes and shoes, take a cab to the Greyhound station, and get on the next bus outta there. There’s gotta be six dozen Ram pickups at every Wal-Mart, so that will confuse the cops for a while and buy them time.

Chartering a private plane would be too much and traceable. So Mr. Cummings’ idea is a sound plan.

Betting there’s a home security camera there Tracy will look at, and he won’t be fooled by that dye job a single bit….game over!

Interesting that scenes with Uncle Bribery & Ugly Crystal are immediately followed by scenes with Grandpa Tracy & (Pretty) Honeymoon. Is Ugly Crystal is going to be an Anti-Honeymoon?

……except Crystal doesn’t seem ugly at all!

Excellent rendering of Tracy in panel 1. And Honeymoon (panels 1 & 2) isn’t too shabby, either.

I am actually rather glad that the Nitrates managed to get away, at least for the moment. And it looks as though Tracy is not yet motivated to engage in pursuit. He wants to “get information” and find out just what is going on and whether or not there has in fact been a crime. We know, but he has yet to put the puzzle pieces together….

The loot will keep them going for awhile. They might want to go to Brazil for awhile or maybe Australia for a holiday. A working one that is. Grifting through the countryside.
