Of all the body functions to be contagious, thank heavens it was yawning.

No one said that poetry has to be profound.

When Calvin and Hobbes were in the same room yawning at one another and began to doze off, Calvin said that one of them should’ve left the room.

What? Dreaming isn’t creative enough, Marigold?

Yawning is the only affliction to be contagious merely by being read about in a comic strip.

I can’t yawn now, I just woke up!

I can’t tell if Marigold is being creative or channeling Walt Kelly. Not that that’s a bad thing.

It wasn’t a spell, it was just Marigold being creative. But if it had WORKED…

Why was Phoebe’s yawn bigger than Marigold’s?

Contagious yawning is purely psychological. You see someone else doing it, so your brain thinks that you should do it too.

Now I’M yawning!

Marigold’s stretch reminds me of my greyhound.

Shouldn’t Marigold’s yawn have put Phoebe to sleep?
