The flights usually took off on time?
They didn’t get groped by the TSA.
They had no idea how far they would go?
There was no “mile high club”
They didn’t need clearance from air traffic control.
They could bring nail-clippers and more than 7oz. of liquid with them! (Doubt they’d get off the ground!)
Let’s see, unique? How about the very event? First, EVER, human flight in a powered aircraft. Sounds unique to me!
If you wanted peanuts, you could have peanuts.
No bathrooms needed on such a short flight.
They never had to squeeze in next to a fellow passenger the size of a sumo wrestler.
They could take off and land in less than the length of the interior of the cabin of a Boeing 747. Heck, their first flight (take off, flight and landing) was less than the length of the horizontal stabilizer of a 747.
