Rather, one’s a critter living in the southern tip of Florida that partied his way through four years of school by investing his college savings in a cooler and beer, and will probably be rooting for Florida (another reason why I happen to be a Georgia Bulldog) on Saturday. The other is a journalist whom Rat is accusing of peddling “fake news” but, for some reason, nevertheless allows her to continue speaking her mind in front of the not-very-intelligent press secretary he keeps trumping out (no pun intended – uh, okay, maybe a little) to show how much he loves women as much as, say, jailbird OJ loved Nicole… duh, because his “generals” whom he appointed as chief of staff, national security advisor, and defense secretary have to keep making him do so to ensure freedom of the press in the adult daycare center he’s turned the Oval Office into while also making sure he doesn’t trigger a nuclear holocaust with the “little rocket man” in North Korea. So, no, she’s not lying. And he’s not lying either that it could be a long four years, which is why we’ve got to make an effort and go to the polls in November of this coming year and in 2020 to make sure it will not be even longer and take eight years, right?
Yeah, man. He’s better than either Spicer or Sanders, the latter of which is desperation on Drumpf’s part to show that, again, he truly loves women when he really just loves women as much as, say, OJ loved Nicole.
The Croc is on the same page with Ted Roosevelt who said “it is not the Critic who counts. It is the individual actually striving in the arena whose place will never be with those timid souls (journalists) who know neither victory or defeat.”
The truly sad part is that comparison is not that far from the truth anymore. There was a time when journalists were ethical and honest, separating their opinions from reporting the news, and saving those opinions to the op page.
Now it’s become who can insert themselves into the news and slant their reporting to their own personal agendas and beliefs. This has become the norm on both sides of the debates. It is no longer about being journalists, instead it’s about ratings and clicks.
Paddy Chayefsky must be smirking in his grave at how on-target his 1976 film Network has become.

Journalism doesn’t pay well. Unless you’re peddling paid news and biased propaganda.
