As long as they have been married, you’d think they’d be sleeping in separate rooms.

Earl and I have a lot in common as I do the same with my husband and his “lights” and TV on too!

This (and the surprise hanky panky) is why TVs do not belong in the bedroom.

No TV in our bedroom and there’s really no place for it. With the entertainment room just across the hall, my wife can watch her movies as much as she wants.

We gave up on TV five years ago and haven’t missed it yet.

1. Tablet with headphones. 2 If Opal can’t sleep, go to another room. There is no reason they have to go to bed at the same time.

We’ve got a TV’s in the bedroom and and the living room, so that my wife can watch her telenovelas and movies in one spot, and I can watch my sports, in the other.

I’m one of those nightowl personalities and she’s an early-to-bed/early-to-rise type, so all my late night reading or TV watching is done in the living room, so the light and sound doesn’t disturb her.

Our home is in a very noisy city neighborhood, so earplugs for sleeping are a must. We’ve got a cottage out in the country that is has no TV, Internet, or landline phone, no streetlights and is very, very quiet – too quiet for me, sometimes.
