Stray & feral cats don’t like to show that side, but after they mature I can usually catch a glimpse a tell. Hard to believe an owner couldn’t. But then again- comic logic!!!
What, the absence of the little bean bag between the hind legs didn’t give them a clue? And bows in the fur doesn’t necessarily mean the dog is a girl. Our first dog was a boy and we took him to a groomer for his annual summer haircut and the groomer put little bows on his ears. I also knew someone that had a male dog and I would always see him with a bow on his head.
As usual, we are left under the guise that all of the dogs on the cartoon are boys with the exception of FooFoo who is pink (usually associated with girls) and every cat is purple.

Gee, how did Skippy’s owners mistake “him” for a he?

Skippy has carried out a sex change without any surgery. But will she still identify as male? Things are complicated these days.

A vet can tell. The owners must never take Skippy to a vet…

Me, my brother, and our cousins can tell the genders of dogs. Even from a good distance away.

How did she get pregnant? She should have noticed then.

I detest that male stereotype. I’d slug whoever started it … if I could locate her.

How well does Poncho know Skippy and he couldn’t tell? Even when Skippy went into heat? The father of her puppies could tell.
