I don’t appreciate it much when people I’m supposed to trust let me down and think they can dodge my scorn by directing my attention to some shiny, or even more unsavory, or train-wrecky, or otherwise glaring thing. I don’t like when other people use distraction on me as a weapon.
But when you use it right on yourself, it can sure be a handy tool. Though definitely a power tool with minimal safety equipment. Gotta be careful with distraction. Whew! I got all the way through that without making the “squirrel!” joke.
