Nobody knew until now…

I don’t recall ever seeing Earl wear a toupee.

On a Yule tree, the lights (candles) are/were to symbolize the light coming back into the world (meaning the sun strengthening each day) Yule starts on the winter solstice, and each day after that of course we get more daylight each day. Blessed Yule to all my wiccan and pagan sisters and brothers

And the cat in the tree eating the tinsel is a symbol of the evil in the world. ;<)

So what does tossing the tree onto the curb a week or so later symbolize?

There is NO xtian symbolism to a Christmas tree. The tradition was stolen from pagans.
