At least it didn’t come from the toilet.
Sue (that is her, right? still get some of the characters confused), has a very Schulzian expression on the right in the second panel.
Now they can have Rita always on tap.
Oh joy.
This explains yesterday’s big splash.
Would it be a bigger bonus to not get her out?
Down the drain is where she belongs.
“We ALL float down here…”
Who will open the faucet?
This strip reminds me a little of the water fountains at Disney’s Epcot center. Some of them talk to you as the water goes down the drain. It’s fun watching people jump.
Good Gravy!!! This is just like that old Garfield strip where Jon is in the bathroom shaving, and he hears a “Meow” from the tap.
JON: Garfield! Where are you?
GARFIELD: I’m in the plumbing.
JON: what should I do?
GARFIELD: Just don’t flush the toilet.
Props on the use of “oubliette” – I had to look that up!
