There are several NFL teams that are infamous for killing talented quarterbacks careers by mismanagement, poor development, and having notoriously poor supporting players. Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, Washington, and the Denver Broncos come immediately to mind.
Tebow’s hypocrisy always bothered me more than his rotten playing. Now that he’s playing minor league baseball (at a minor talent level), I would have hoped that we wouldn’t have to hear anything about him anymore.
The Heisman Trophy has never been a great predictor or NFL success. Particularly since it is given so often to quarterbacks, the position which requires the greatest learning and adjustment from college to the NFL.

If they keep giving it to NCAA QBs that can’t cut it in the NFL, maybe they need to re-evaluate their criteria.
