The problem is not in the noticing, but in the thinking it matters. IMHO

Last Doctor I saw was a woman

Only problem for me was that she was good looking and that did make taking my clothes off a little weird

I have long had a strong preference for female healthcare providers. They’re easier to talk to, and even the surgeons aren’t as arrogant about it as dudes are.

As to younger ones – well, like Frank, I no longer many other options…….

I have had women doctors for about 40 years now, because they actually listened to me with some respect for my opinion. Since the world has changed quite a lot in 40 years, I might consider a male now, If he were reasonably young. My new dog’s vet is a younger male, and he did seem to believe that I had a brain. But, I wouldn’t bother to try a male over 40. They just don’t believe women have a right to an opinion as to what is going on with their own body.

I take it he was there for his eyes.

One of my doctors is a young Asian woman.

I had a Chinese doctor once.

One of my brothers specifically went looking for a female dentist with very small hands. He says it makes all the difference in comfort for longer procedures.
