ah, the old days of reel to reel tape

Today, Adam@home is about taping Adam’s snores…

I’m just glad that guy isn’t a newlywed. Nancy doesn’t need to be exposed to that sort of thing.

If only it were that easy. Most snorers do not respond to similar sounds.

He won’t believe that it’s him.

At least twice in the reel-to-reel days, I tried this. Giggling fit to bust, I set the machine up in the living room where Dad was snoring away, and let it record. Then I went back to my room to listen to it, and there was nothing there. Presumably, it was outside the frequency response of the machine.

The second time was a repeat of the first. It may have been someone else snoring that time. Perhaps this is why hi-fi recorders became popular.

How close are these homes!?!?!

To be fair, this IS pre-CPAP.

Just how close do they live. Don’t think you can hear snoring like that.
