My younger daughter & I played “peekaboo” with an opossum last night. When we walked out (I was taking my girl to Youth Group) he ducked behind a tree, then peeked out from behind (to which we said, “We see you!”), ducked back again, peeked out again…then walked along the hill with us towards our driveway before turning around and heading up the hill. He was SO cute!
Earlier this summer we saw a deer that learned to get the seed from hanging bird feeders. She’d tilt the feeder to pour a mouthful of seed, munch away, repeat until the feeder was empty. The neighbors didn’t know why their feeder emptied every night!
